Note : Nifty EXP, Options AIT, Options BUY & Futures models went live on 01 Apr 2022 while Finnifty EXP, STAIRS EXP HR and STAIRS EXP LR went live on 01 Apr 2023. The data prior to that date has been put up as a study material to understand the prior period analysis.

Right when we though Nifty was breaking out of a range on the upside, we witnessed a simple extension of the volatile phase where indecisions seems to be the flavor. Gap ups, gap downs & wild intra day moves seem to have become very common while the wait for a clean trend continues.

Nifty is currently SHORT heading into next expiry.

Volatility continues and so does the search for a direction. Most STAIRS models have been under the hammer playing victing to volatility in the markets. The risk management has been set up in such a way that the quantities are cut down beyond certain percentages across all models and that is exactly what we are seeing currently. We hope clean trends emerge soon and help us close out this calendar year on a positive note.

General Note : As drawdowns increase, we will witness an aggressive reduction in position sizing in all options models. The recovery may be slow but profit / capital protection is at the core of the strategy. Kindly come in with a mindset to stay invested in the strategies at least for a period of 18 months to be able to make the best out of STAIRS models.
